Which HID kit???

Well today has been a good day

Turbo seems to have been cured by removing the De-cat and got the full miltek on alot more powerfull now.

Hehe dont know why i just said that?

But anyway back to the post... I want to get a HID kit when i order a set of angels for my pre-facelift A3 which one do i go for?

So many out there varies in price too! Anythign i should/shouldnt know..

Also 6,8, or 10 k???

Iv'e heard the 6k is about right, similar to the new BMW and Merc HID lights, nice and blue. Yes you can go higher and bluer but you loose the performance, ie they dont shine over greater distances.

Its all down to performance over looks again!

I got a 6k kit for the golf and its bang on. maybe a little on the blue side of white but grand. I paid 160 ish for the kit and while there are cheaper it was a UK seller with warranty and good quality.

Take a look at www.jbrperformance.co.uk

The kits are really good quality and a few guys on here have them so im sure they can vouch for the quality.

THe best one to go for is 6k as it is closest to sun light!
