what i would like to know is do i need longer wheel bolts? standard avus wheel with bolt in measures 20mm of thread protruding out the back same bolt in new wheel 17mm. is there a safety limit as to how far they should go in? thanks in advance :beerchug:

I wouldn't worry about 3 mm, aslong as you get 7 full turns into the hub. Ive got 5mm spacers on standard bolts.

cheers fella, well i can fit them soon then as long as i get some light when works finished. :beerchug:

why thankyou hope they look alrite. just ur normal silver diamond cut type

Oh yea i like them, i've got the non diamond cut type in black on my a4 an i love em.

yeah i can just about see the colour in ur pic, think they would look abit weird on a black car. hmmm maybe not, hopefully get them on tomorrow,

I was always told that one and a half times the diameter is a good rule of thumb for bolt fixings.

e.g M12 bolt = 18mm exposed.

Hope this helps
