    '97 A3 Centre Dash Question

Just a quick question. Are the heater controls meant to light up with the rest of the dash? Mine don't and was wondering is it just a single bulb replacment? and how to remove the trim. Is it just pull the knobs off and a couple of screws? (No innuendo intended). Thanks

I assume you don't have AC. From memory you have to take quite a lot apart ie radio out to get to the screws to get the heater controls out. Then take the heater controls module apart to get to a small bulb.

Hi don't know if its the same on the facelift as yours, but the controls are supposed to light-up.

The bulb is behind the middle control (fan level), get a pair of tweezers and put some cotton wool on the end, then wriggle the bulb out. They are about 2 from halfaulds.

    Hope this helps

by the way I had to change mine and removed everything only to find I could just do that.
