Squeaky Brakes

Morning, got an issue of squeaky brakes. Any suggestions to solve?

you sure its ur brakes squeaking? at the moment ive got a similar problem with squeakin from the front end and ive narrowed it down to ARB bushes so double check first.

otherwise id imagine it wud just be a bit "crap" on the brake pads rubbin against the discs.

any advances?

Pads off, cleaned up and then back on. If that doesn't sort it then you may need new pads.

Yeah defo the brakes, only when depressed do they start to squeak. Looks like a weekend job then.

don't forget to add some copper grease to the back of them! :icon_thumright:

yea, i get the same all the time on my cars. Drive it like you stole it eh? lol
Clean the callipers and pads rrom dust, if problem persists champfer the leading edge on all front pads, this stops burring which is a common cause of squeal. EBC do a range of budget, performance pads w ready champfered edges for your car. I use em in me rs6 now and there fine. Virgin use EBC pads in their trains now for the same reason!
