I've just had my tyres changed and the place i changed them were shocked how my treads were worn at the back quite back of my s3 up to the thread on one side, and not even.. they were saying that the shocks on my car wasn't doing its job or worn out... but i only put konis and eibach upgraded suspension on like 18months ago when i put the tyres on, i've put some nice michellen's on now and just worried that these will get messed up.

any ideas what i should get looked at? is it my bushes?, shocks? allignment?
any adivce wuold be appreicated.
thanks chucky

I would suggest getting your cars four wheel alignment done, mine was out by quite a lot and i still have standard suspension so if you have fitted lowering springs it may be even worse!!

if its lowered sounds like a camber problem.

Thats wot i thought it was my friend has a look and says the same thing. I've had my suspenion quite a while thought the shocks are on the way out
but i think its just the camber as you said.

anyone recommend where i can get some adjustable tie bars from?

jbr? amd??

i like to get this sorted asap.
chuck

forge also sell them

tbh they seem very expensive for what they are.

Jabba do adjustable tie bars on an exchange basis considerably cheaper than all the others about.
