Lower than normal running temp and lower mpg....

running at a lower temp on average lately (80-85degC) and mpg seems to have dropped. Can't be duff temp sensor as it was only replaced in may. Any ideas or quick checks?

i am having the same probs! u got vagcom???? i checked my fault codes and got one sayin coolang sensor signal irratic so im finking it mite be my coolant sensor

as I said, coolant temp sensor was only replaced in may, so can't be that. nothing else tells the ECU water temp (2 feeds from the temp sender - 1 to ECU and the other to the dash display)

Vag com will tell you for sure if it is the sensor or not!

taking longer to start 3-4 seconds (replaced temp sensor 3 month ago)
green one, changed non return valve filter + filter seals twice,coolant sensor gone again??????????
