Viper,

I would suggest you get a car first.....but anyway, the car is already equiped with a variation of a dump valve, it's a recirculating version which puts boosted pressure back through the system keeping the boost as high as possible at all times. The N75 and DV take care of the Turbo, does your friend really think manufacturers want thir turbo's to go pop??!!

Wouldn't bother with a dump valve, just change the standard diverter valve for an aftermarket jobby which gives smoother gear changes and will probably last longer than the standard one!
