Will an S3 exhaust fit a A3 1.8 t sport? advice needed asap!

Hi,

Just bought a 1998 A3 1.8 T sport and am looking to chance the exhaust to something wich looks better and sounds better. Ive got the chance of buying an s3 exhaust at good money, will it fit my a3 1.8 t sport? i know the engines are basically the same but im not certain it will fit. Also will it make any performance/ noise difference to the standard one ive got if it will fit?

oh damn it, theres one going for £5 on ebay lol oh well. so would anyone mind telling me what exactly the difference is engine wise between an A3 20v turbo and a S3?

The orientation of the S3 exhaust is difference, the bore is different.

Yes it will, except for the downpipe.
