Has anyone removed these motors form the one piece headlamps and mangaged to get them out without breaking the clip the ball locates into? I have just managed to break both of them and Audi say its not a seperate part.
Its a white 'U' shape clip with a single screw fitting.
If anyone has 2 spare or knows if they are available i would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.

Didn't you learn on the first one?
I'm not familiar with these particular headlights, but you normally have to push the ball in a certain direction, not pull it straight out.

Well if there was a third one i would have learnt by then!
These are replaced by techy's quite often so there must be a repair solution!

I have just fitted face lift headlights to my s3, and as i was not willing to start cutting up the cars wiring loom, I managed to swap the headlight adjusters between the old and new lights, all 4 in and out with no breakage, the trick to it was to un screw the motor and then pull the inside of the light (the reflector) towards the back of the casing this gives you more space to angle the motor and slide the ball out of the mentioned plastic runner to one side rather than trying to pull it out,

as for spares i cant help with that sorry

but try a breakers if you can get it out of the light they wont even notice lol
