How to start the computer for audi sport 1.6

Hi all,

My girlfriend just bought an audi 1.6 sport 2000/01 model. However when she is driving around the computer is always off. How do you turn it on?

I have a 1.8 turbo 98' model and the button is on the right handside but i cant see this on her car.

Can anyone with the same model help?

Not sure if its the same on yours, but on my S3 you just press the reset button on the stalk quickly - this turns in on/off.

hi, thanks but thats how its on my audi, but not on my girlfriends audi. Normally its on the right hand side at the end of the stalk, but i cant see it on her 1.6 sport.

Any other ideas?

Are you certain that it has DIS? I know that sounds like a daft question, but it's just that I thought it was never standard on 1.6 models; and I've not seen many that have it - plus the blank in the cluster doesn't particularly look like there's no display there; add that to the fact the controls aren't in their usual place...

The on/off on mine is on the right hand stalk, but underneath about 2/3rds of the way along?
