S3 viewing

hi there i am in the market for an s3 and have seen a y plate one for £9.5k with 55k on the clock and a full service hx..i am going to view it this week( was supposed to last week!) and wanted to ask if there is anything in particular i should look out for?

Also if anyone knows any well cared for(FASH etc) s3's y plate or 51 that are for sale pref black then please let me know...My budget is 10k is that reasonable for a y or 51plate? thnx:thumbsup:

would have thought 10k for a facelift S3 may be a bit low

I think you'd be pretty lucky to find a facelift S3 for £10k or under with less than 100k miles, they are about, but not well maintained, full service history and immaculate examples.

I was offered one owned by the financial advisor at my local dealership the other day; it went for 7250 and was a 2001 facelift 210Ps in pretty good condition (90k on the clock, FSH inc belts etc and full mot) so they are out there...
