spoiler fitment

how do i go about it

had a quick look at the standard one, if you can call it that, its a tiny lip and it isn't obvious how to get it off

someone care to share the technique please?

would be much appreciated

On the A3 it's part of the tailgate so i don't think you'll be able to just take it off.

so does that mean any new spoiler will fit over the top or do i need to get a tailgate as well?

Do you mean the S3 one? If so then i'm guessing it would but that is me guessing!

The roof spoiler just fits over the top of lip on tailgate
Here is a few pics of mine when i put it on back in 2003.
Ive got to original audi sport spoiler fitted to mine , not the S3 one but it will give you a rough idea

Its OEM mate projectwo manufacture it for them. as i said its part of the sport kit option , ive also got the front bumper .
Rest of kit i didnt want as ive got different makes for skirts and rear

I sprayed it with a hand can haha NOT

Body shop sprayed it for me, that was the first thing i fitted back in 2003 , its subtle , just the way i like it
