    which engine oil for S3?

    Hey all prob been asked 100 times but which engine oil is good for an S3?

    Mobil 1 is probably good enough but not all oils are the same.

    I'd only use Motul and there is no reason you shouldn't be able to find it on the net. Try the opieoils website.

    AVS or interval servicing? I'd suggest a 5W-30 rather than 0W..

    I do mine every 5K miles with Fuchs 0-40W, from opieoils.

    vw503.01 (old spec) or vw504.00 (new spec) both are suitable as Audi rejigged their oil specs to confuse things.

    i use castrol * (*whatever the current bling name is)
    Audi RS3

    Yup, any engine should have it's oil changed every 5000miles or 6 months, irrespective of the Fleet Manager pleasing service schedule the manufacturer recommends.

    0w/5w-40 are both fine. I prefer the 0w-40 as i prefer the extra cold start protection and the cleaning properties for the fine oil lines to my K03 turbo.

    Motul 8100 complies to current and previous VAG specifications.
