Had to sell the S3 for a TDi :( as getting a new house :) - now got a 2002 A3 TDi. Want to lower my car and was wondering what you guys would recommend in the way of coilover kits ? Its not going too low as I want about an inch bewteen the tyre and arch but I also don't want the suspension to be too hard or crashy as I have a set of 18" alloys fitted too. I've been offered an FK Silverline X kit at a very good price. It's for a 2002 Golf 4 FWD so will this fit an A3 TDi FWD 2002 model ? Any other options you can recommend ?

cheers Kev

I had Eibach on mine with 40mmish drop, im really happy with it, have a look...

I had an H&R kit on my Golf and it was bone crumblingly hard. The Koni kit on the S3 (when on softest setting) was just right, no harder than standard, just firmer.
