Can the sat nav unit be retro fitted into a car that never came with it in the first place?

Also Ive read that cruise control can be retro fitted, is this a diy job?

Any info or guides would be appreciated

seems like a pain to do when aftermarket in dash screens are so competively priced now doh!!!

I fitted an Alpine sat nav screen system, also added cd changer, but you can also add DVD, DAB radio etc....

I had cruise fitted last weekend at APS, it was £146 all in, looked like a bit of a pig of a job
