I've found out this afternoon that my clutch master cylinder is shagged. I asked the mechanic to check it while he fitted my Forge TIP and DV because it had been sticking. Turns out the push rod has snapped. Does that sound right for a 6 year old car that's only done 41K miles? I mean I know you can expect wear and tear on these items, they get used often enough on every trip, but I'd just like to make sure the failure isn't an early sign of something else (probably an expensive something else!) about to let go!
