S3 cylinder head

I`ve got and 01 210bhp S3 engine code AMK. The cylinder head is cracked so I need a replacement. The problem is I have located two S3 heads with engine numbers BAM and APY. Is the head any different on these as my car is an AMK? I have rang audi but the parts guy did`nt know!

amk has vvt so you will need the bam.

so the head with the BAM code would be the same as my AMK. Just making sure before i buy it. cheers.

Which of the heads is the one that has the larger valves?

All have the same size valves,you mean larger ports.
I believe the only a3 is the early agu 1.8t's.

got talking to audi again today and the said the part no. for the two heads (amk&bam) are the same, happy days.
