    Bilstein...

B6's or B8's? I think the general feeling is B8's, but I've seen B6 crop up too... Want to make sure I buy the right kit!

    Cheers,

    Rich

I have wondered what the difference in performance would be between these on the road. I know the B8s have a shortened stroke designed for lowered cars but how much difference would that make with cars that are typically being lowered by 20-25mm, over the performance you would get with the B6s?

i believe the only difference is the body of the damper shorter.

The B4s are equivalent to OEM shocks. B6 are sports shocks but just don't have the shortened stroke of the B8 which are adverstised as for lowered cars.

I was wondering how much difference there would be between the B6 and B8 for cars that are lowered 20-25mm? Bilstein say the optimum drop performance wise with the B8 is 40-50mm and that you can lower 20mm with the B6.
