warrenty and dump valves

This is probably a silly question, but will fitting a different dump valve to the car invalidate my warrenty?

I have found that most Audi stealers don't care to much as long as any faults are not a direct cause of a modification!

But this is only in my humble opinion /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Maybe we can get an official statement from Audi UK on this as to what is covered by warranty or not regarding modifications.

I have always assumed that the dealer/Audi would have to prove that it was as a direct result of the modification that caused the failure.. Maybe I'm incorrect.
