Removing door cards

any tips on this? I hate door cards the buggers never go back on right

well in my experience they're pretty good on the A3 and go back on like they should.

I leave the window up but others say it's easier with it down.

Remove screws at each end of the door at the top (hidden when door shut)

Remove the screw holding the trim on inside the interior handle.

Pull trim off

Remove unhidden screws

Lift whole lot straight up

Job done, then you just need to disconnect cables to suit etc.

excellent - got some components to fit asap

the door cards is the easy bit fitting the components properly without the rings bending is the tricky bit. I hope u r going to give that door card a good dose of dynamat before you mount them because they will need them as the speakers are mounted on the flimsy door card.

Ill figure something out lol maybe make some mdf rings.

Just a pity my speakers dont fit
