adjustable tie bars

hi, a friend of mine has recently had a crash in his s3 and will be stripping it down, he has offered me the tie bars which he has had for 8,000 miles. should i take them or does the mileage affect this part, any help would be good..

Unless they were twisted in the crash or really badly corroded, I'd take them.
