15 bhp anyone for £3.99 (cough)

"1) What year and model will this work on?
It will work on all petrol-injected models (not turbo models) from 1989 to present on the vehicle listed above. "

So defenettly not my piece of cake. And I certainly wouldn't go and buy that litle happy go lucky thingy. The way I see it is that it just over rides your cars rpm limiter or something similar, I can't see how it would be possible to optimize the fuel/air ratio in all injection engines without specificly designed injection graphs (if thats what they're called in English). But hey that's just my oppionion. Sure would like to hear from an expert on the subject.

I believe all this is, is a little resisitor that you fit inline with you MAF sensor, it fools your engine into thinking that you have much more cooler air.

hence the ECU provides more fuel.

definately a con, especially as the resistor is about 4p.

Sounds like an easy way to lean off / overfuel your engine which would have an appreciably detrimental affect on cats, turbos and engine itself (not to mention emmission tests for MOT) and fuel consumption.
