Your opinion on the value on my S3

Hi

Im thinking of selling my S3 for to buy a Honda S2000, and would like to know your opinions on the value of my car:-

Audi S3 registered Sep 1999
Just under 60k
FSH (main dealer untill end of warranty and Dialynx Swindon the rest)
Folder full of reicepts, no expense spared if its needed it ive got it.
Cambelt, tensioners and waterpump replaced 55K
Ebony black with silver leather
Car body and interior is in near excellent condition
4 Nearly new Toyo Proxies

Negatives are No ESP and NO Bose upgrade.

I was think of putting it up for just under 10k and take no less than 9.4k, does this sound reasonable or am I living in the clouds.

Sounds about right for the age and condition, though if you had Bose and a CD changer, it would probably would have flown out at that price, I would hold out for 9.5k personally, though you need to be patient in shifting a car today. The market is a bit slow imo.

Good call Jamesh, I've fancied an S2000 for a while, I'd say that sounds about right to me too, I think it's just a case of waiting for the right buyer.

cars of this age and spec were selling at dealerships for about £14 this time last year. About £10k would be right, but as you say, don't do below £9.5k.

Thats a whole lotta car for £9.5k, and its had the maintenance too...

I just paid 8600 for a 99 with 86k. similar spec but with esp.

2000/2001 are almost going for 9-10k.

its pretty cut-throat atm
