Suspension Bang?!!

OK Gents another question.

I've got the a3 and i've noticed when you go over a speed bump the back of my car comes down with quite abit of a bump.

My suspension seems fine and the cars sitting well.

Any ideas?

exhaust might be loose, otherwise check the springs, part of them might have broken off.

yup rear spring are know for breaking the top coil off

Sometimes the handbrake slips and "bangs" down when it is on, could it be this?

Just read the post correctly and don't suppose you would have the handbrake on when going over a speed bump!!
