This is really really embarressing... :(

I'm 300 miles away from home and left my manual there....

My Concert stereo's gone t*ts up and is hung with red light on but no one's at home.... I can't turn it on or off and the sat nav complains that the radio's faulty...

I want to check the fuse but can't for the life of me find the fuse box ? I've checked all over and under the dash and I've always been able to find it on any car... but for some reason I can't locate the b*gger....

OK... when you've stopped laughing... help.. !!!

It's under the panel on the right hand end of the dash, the bit that gets hidden with the door closed. Use your ignition key to prise the panel off and away you go.

Beer is owed !! Thanks Andy.

I popped fuses one by one checking them and when I got the the stereo fuse and replaced it the stereo sorted itself out.... All seems to be well now... I guess it just freaked out for some reason.

There was a bit of a blue spark when I removed the fuse due to the power flowing.. but no damage appears to have been done.

:)

nope - you can turn the stereo on without the key in...... it was stuck on... only way to avoid that is to remove the battery.... :)
