Hi All,

Ive noticed some white smoke coming from my exhaust, normally in the morning, but im sure its not cold enough yet for that to happen like it does in the winter

I spoke to audi, and they said it could be something to do with the oil, or some moisture inside the exhaust? Sounds a little strange, as the car has only covered 27k

Ive also noticed in not getting the kick i normally do in second gear, all the other gears are fine, but feel im loosing some boost in second, any ideas on what it could be?

Your advice is appreciated

I believe that white smoke is normally just condensation (i.e. the 'smoke' is steam). Do you do a short journey before parking up at night?

I'm not saying this is what your problem is but I was told to look out for white smoke when buying as it's a sign the turbo is on it's way out. I would imagine at only 27k yours is fine though, well it should be!

Mine had white smoke today when driving, its getting to that temp outside now i'm afraid especially with all this damp weather, don't worry!!

Blue smoke, worry!!

sounds normal to me, after re-reading your original post...
