As above, i'd like to open up my headlamp units so i can give them a good clean and a couple of tweeks. Anyone done it, to replace a lense or something??
Anyone removed the headlamp lenses??

Hi,
Iv'e taken the lamps apart to repair a refector,the glue that holds the lense to the back is a non setting type but is very strong so it takes some time ,when you reassemble them just use silicon to reseal and stick them back together and refix the small clips,DO NOT GET ANYTHING ON THE REFECTORS as the silvering comes off very easily.

I wouldn't bother you have to remove the front bumper to replace the headlight lens. I wouldn't have believed even Audi could make something so simple, so complicated.

On my pre-facelift you don't. Remove the indicator, unbolt the headlamp, unclip the lens. Might be harder on a facelift car though.
