18x8.5 ET32 wheels ok on an S3?

Hi. Im looking at a set of wheels with the above specs, would these fit on an S3 ok?

Its the standard height/suspension and I take it I would need 225/40/18 tires?

If anyone can confirm that it would be great.

The genuine S3 optional 18" RSTT 9 spoke alloys are the following spec...


8J x 18” H2
ET 33
5 x 100 stud pattern (PCD)

Correct tyre size would be 225/40/18

Tyre pressures starting from 36 PSI all round for smaller loads, changing up for larger loads

So you just need to check the width is compatible.

They will fit fine mate, that is the exact same spec as the BBS CH's im using at the minute. I use 225/40/18 tyres although they are a bit stretched because of the 8.5" width of the wheel.

Sweet, cheers chaps. Just bought some 18" BBS RW2's off ebay. Need a bit of a refurb, but got them for a decent price.

Been after some of these for ages, but they have stopped making them. Got 5 so ive got a spare as well. Will post up some pics when I have them fitted

36 psi all round!!

im running the set up as recommended by glen.. 32 front 36 rear.

36 all round gives too much understeer
