Side moulding (bump strip) Removal?

Does anybody konw that has done it, if they are just stuck on or have they got clips that leave holes in the door?
Want to take mine off to make it looks smother but dont want to faced with holes in the doors after i do it.

I think there's two holes left from each moulding, so they would need filling if you were to remove them.

i think there are more than two, i have changed mine but i'm not sure how many holes are there. will check you the manual when i reach home.
