Problem with 1.8T

hI

I have a 2001 a3 1.8T sport with 60K on the clock.

Recently it has started to behave strange on start up - The Revs can go eratic as though it may stall - It coughs and splutters for a few seconds but then goes - The autocheck still says it is ok and there is no ecu light on - However, it does not do this everytime - anyone got any ideas?

Mine does that if i thrash it the night before and thats with only 30K on the clock... i shouldnt worry unless its really bad...

can try by starting with the cheapest first - give the throttle body a good clean, and replace the coolant temp sensor.

Sorry to be so dumb but what is the Throttle body and where is it?

I have occasional problems like above and would like to give this ago
