Which discs and pads???

Any advice welcome,

I've just been to collect my car from its 3monthly oil change only to be told that it now needs discs and pads all round (I swear that car wont be happy until im skint!)

Anyway, what discs and pads would people recomend?

If it makes any difference the car is a 2001 1.8T, will soon have S3 alloys, its main use is round town shortish journeys and i tend to drive like Colin McRae!

Either just stick with the OEM or upgrade to S3/TT 312mm discs and calipers and fit steel braided brake hoses. I'm sure you will be able to pick up S3/TT brakes cheap enough as there is always someone doing a upgrade to Brembo

I'd give a vote for the 312mm discs and pads from the S3, much better than the standard discs and pads
