Stealer or Specialist

Looks like my second AVS will be due just after my warranty runs out, so I was toying with the idea of a local specialist (Grantleys of Basingstoke). Apparently the technicians are all ex VAG, the cost is likely to be cheaper and my local main dealer Martins are /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/****.gif

Surely this wont put off any prospective buyers when it comes to selling time, coz a specialist stamp in the book is a good as a main dealer is it not??

As long as the independant has a good rep, I would say it is actually *better* value than a dealer stamp as it shows you really care about your car (though not enough to take it out of AVS!).
