OIL & SERVICE LIGHT SHOWING ON A3 MILEAGE METER?

Hi

Im gunna sound like a proper dumbass here but i dont know much about cars!

Ive got a 1999 Audi A3 TDi

Ive started getting up OIL & SERVICE flashing up on my mileage counter.

Does this mean that my car needs a service or that it needs more oil.

Im sure it had a service about 7 months ago, and when i check the oil its very low.

Im driving up to T-In the park this weekend and want to know if its just a case of putting more oil in the car?

If so then what oil is recommended?

that warning basically means that it needs a 20k mile service. Have a look in the S3/A3 FAQ for whats included in this.

Looks like the service timer isn't in sync with your services..

Ahhh right ok.

Its due an MOT this month anyway, so will ask for a service with that.
