Beep Beep Beep!

Heya,
Hope someone can help me here.
I have an 98 A3 1.6 sport (yeah yeah i know)
I'm getting 3 beeps from the dash and the (!) light flashing on the dash, The car doesn't have the trip computer fitted.
this only happens after i've been driving for around 30 minutes and when i'm stopping it then goes away when ., I presume as i'm stopping it may be brake related but the fluid levels etc seem ok and it has good disks and pads all round.

Does anyone have any idea what this could be i presume the 3 beeps are an error code. Is it simply a sensor in the caliper or is my artodeetoo car trying to tell me that Little Jimmy has fallen down a well or something?

I've called my local audi dealer and they can't see the car until the end of the month and won't say until they have seen it. (swines)

Sorry don't know what the beeps are, but I would suggest you try another dealer and drive there to show them, if you go during a quiet time they should be able to get a mechanic to have a quick look for you on the forecourt.

Since it is not likely to be under warranty anymore you may be better having a chat with a local garage or VAG specialist near to you.
