s3 front bumper??

i have the chance to get an s3 front bumper for a good price, my question is, will it look ok on my 1.8tq without having the s3 skirts and rear bumper? has anyone got a pic of a car like this with just the front bumper, as im worried the front bumper will be lower than the rest of the car, thanks

i dont think that it will fit, as the S3's wings are wider then the rest of the A3 range (i stand to be corrected though)

it'll fit, however probably you'll have to apply heat where the bumper meet the front wings.

The bumper doesn't attach to the wings though, it attaches to the wheelarch liner.

not too sure if it's possible.

I was always led to believe that it will not fit on an A3 without modifications. The S3 is wider bodied than an A3 due to the flared arches.

I'm not saying it won't fit at all, as I don't know 100% but I'm convinced it will need some alteration.

I think at the front end most of the extra width is in the wheel arches, so there may be some work to do where the top of the bumper joins the bottom of the arch. I am sure it has been done before and pictures posted on this site
