The main ones that go are the wishbone bushes (2 per front wishbone) changing those makes a huge difference if they are worn out, if your steering is going vague or loose it's probably the rack however it's worth checking the bushes first. There is also a procedure for checking the rack is as tight as it can be. The steering rack powerflex bush I think has improved steering feel even more on my car but it's hard to say as the rack was changed at the same time. I think the only other ones powerflex do are the ARB bushes.
Also if you're having loads of work done I'd make sure the strut top mounts are replaced and the bearings as it's no extra work when fitting the new suspension.
