Vag-com, steer angle sensor, 2000 S3

I attached a vag-com, and i have a fault on my steer angle sensor, its reading 353 degres when the wheel is centered, if i remove the steering wheel and turn the sensor a full turn using vag-com, will it fix the prob.

Any advice greatly appriciated

I doubt it, there is a routine that can be run in VAG-COM to recalibrate the sensor.

The Ross-Tech site has the info i think..

there is a recaliberation part on Vag-Com, but im unsure if you need the full version. can anyone offer advice.
