Alternative to the Stealers for Genuine Parts

Im replacing the carpet in my A3 after spilling a tin of roof sealing paint in there and need to basically order a whole new interior carpet section.

Tried a few dealers who are looking at around 340-360 trade inc vat for the part.

Anyone got any suggestions as to where i can pick one up?

I have tried breakers and although they are cheap they are also covered in glass, water, oil and all sorts of muck.

Anyone any ideas?

How about buying one of the breaker ones and shampooing it outside or in the bath (when the wife is out, obviously...)

The main problem with the breakers is glass in the carpet and they are usually badly water damaged. If i could find one that had been taken out of one that the windows hadnt gone through on or been left in a depot i'd gladly give it a wash.

may end up biting the bullet and buying new stealer one as vag parts werent any cheaper /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
