HI, chaps can anyone help?, I have a S3, Xreg, and crashed it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif, now its been repaired i have changed the ABS unit and when my local mechanic puts it on the snapon scanner, its saying that the steer angle sensors defective,

Where is it located

How much will it cost to change.

Will there be other sensors/parts that might need checking.

I know im a newbie but If anyone could help i would be v happy, thanks guys. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Its located behind the steering wheel.

You remove the steering wheel and then the plastic cowling to get to it. I recon 1/2 hour labour to change it.

Do you have the fault code number? Was the fault cleared first to see if it returns. Sometime fault codes can appear if a control unit can't see its associated components, but they may actually be okay.

i will take it to the garage tomorrow, and see if it can be found, also we will try to reset the code to see if it returns, i will also find the code and post it, Thanks HTC.
