Idle control valve

Does anyone know where it is on the S3???? I want to check it and give it a clean out.

There is no separate idle control valve to speak of. The idle is controlled by the electrobic throttle body.

Thanks, I thought it would have had a seperate one.

I wanted to clean it out because of the problem i am having with startup. (car is nearly cutting out when I come to start it first thing in the morn)

I would check to see if you have the updated coolant temp sender. This would be my first port of call.
