Batteries...

The quickest of quick questions folks (at work so can't stay long!),

I'm about to buy a battery for my car, I was planning to get one to suit a TDI A3, assuming that it will be considerably higher-rated than the one Audi prescribe (mine's only a 1.6) - I guess that I won't have any difficulties fitting it as there seems to be quite a lot of space around the existing battery; but as always I'd greatly appreciate any information you folks might be able to offer...

Not sure if the 1.6 has a plastic box around the battery or a clamp across the top holding the fuses. If so then just make sure your new battery can allow the top fuse box back on or alternatively make a small holder yourself with a small flat piece if metal.

...Just returned from the Garage...

I got a TDI Battery in the end; mine is held in place by a metal strap with the fusebox attached; with a bit of bodging it's gone in OK. Thanks for your help!
