Will a 98 S3 bumper fit 01 A3?

Looking to get a front bumper from a 1998 S3 sent from a dismantler, but I'm not sure if it will fit my 2001 A3 1.6?

I believe it will fit but you'll have a bit poking out at the top where the arches re bigger on the S3...

On a similar subject does anyone know if the bottom trim from an S3 bumper will fit on an A3?.. Wouldn't mind that lower bit of trim being colour coded

S3 front bumper is 1 piece mate it's not separate like standard A3's

I had the lower bit on my a3's bumper sprayed to match, made the front end look a lot better, filled in the line around the number plate tub as well

Lavis, was thinking about spraying it but wasn't sure about the different texture. Was it filled and sanded first? How well has the paint lasted?
