    A3 Fmic hot side pipe route question.

    I'm almost ready to refit the bumper, only question I have at the moment is where have people run the pipe coming off the hot side of the cooler. Mine is currently like this



    Can I get away with this? It looks a bit close to the ground. Or do I need to take a jigsaw to the plastic trim by the horn?
    2001 1.8T Quattro Sport 89k covered ARY engine.
    Remapped at Badger 5, 213bhp - 235lb/ft torque.
    HS2K cone, FMDV008, Silicon TIP, 18" RS4 (reps), AP coilovers, Catch can, n249 bypass, Toyosport 3" Downpipe/Decat, S3 Front brakes, Polyflexed Dogbone, S3dave adjustable tie bars

    Soon to be done: SAI delete, Install the toyosport FMIC i have kicking about in my living room

    Holesaw through the engine cover there, relocate the horn slightly then up you come beyond the battery IIRC

    Yep, I also cut away at the cover over the gearbox. Forcefully pushed and bent the horn back a bit

    all done now, just got to flip the cooler because the inlets are a bit too low then put the lower valance back on and the job is done(ish) going to play around with the pipeing a bit but got it back on the road for now. Cheers guys
