gearbox help 02q f ? what quattro fitted to ?

any help just got a gearbox for my 2000 s3 Quattro code is 02q f and cant see the rest.

Done a search and people say its for 2.0 or 3.2 any help or advise on if it will fit my car ?

Will it cause me any problems / or will ratios be different ?

think the code is F ? L ? 05 3 if this means anything to anyone cant see as its scraped off

02Q is a TFSI box IIRC... not suitable for 8L's... doesn't have a speed sensor for a start as later cars use ABS sensors for speed unlike Mk4 chassis cars which use the speed sonsor in the box

You need to fit an 02M box... be aware that there are 5 speed versions as well as 6 speed versions for the quattro's...

Is it off the mk5 r32 or something as it has the transfer box on it

If its off an R32 then it won't fit a 20v regardless as the bellhousing is different... they are also fitted to S3's and A3 quattro's...

Pics may help and I doubt anyone in 8L will want one lol
