Was Absolute Red exclusive to the S3?

As title really, was absolute red exclusive to the S3 or was the A3 available in it too?

I think absolute red is exclusive to the S series cars, but there is an colour optional extra on the price list for any colour of the Audi range. £2k if you tick that box back in the day!
