excuse my ignorance but where is the obd socket on a 2002 a3.
it lived in the rear ash tray comp in my a4 but not wanting to start pulling my new motor about i thought i would ask you guys.

On my a3 its at the back of the cubby hole under the front ashtray... but it could be to the right of the steering wheel under the light swtich

Look to the right hand side of the steering wheel where the small cubby hole is and u will see it located below that. Its Purple in colour. Best to check it whilst ur out of the car kneeling down.
