Tyre Split/Crack

Hi all,

Probably me being paranoid but you thing the split on my tyre is much to worry about? Tyre is fairly new (approx. 6 months old). It's not that deep.

Thats been up a kerb and a good knock by the look of it.There is a scuff on the tyre itself and the alloy is a mess. I would be suprised if that would pass an MOT. The tyre wall is damaged and could blow out at any time. Pity as it's a good Michelin tyre. I would get that replaced and try not to drive into kerbs.

Okay, the alloys need replacing for sure. It's how they were when I bought the motor.

The tyre needs replacing, I would not like to keep using that.

Cheers guys. I'll get the tyre changed and save up and get new alloys at some point.
