Identifying Sensor Help Please

Right,

During my con rod fire a couple of electrical sensors were melted and are non reusable.

One of them sits on the back of the gearbox, anyone know a part no or have a link to the item? The engine code is AMK.

I will upload some pictures asap when I'm next at the garage tomorrow evening.

The one on the back of the gearbox is the speedo sensor... 1J0 919 149A on the quatty box and LCR box I have sat in front of me...

Have rung gsf and tps and looking at £70. As everyone does iv been on ebay and found this, if its suitable?

Tuffty's number looks better, I think the one you linked to on ebay is maybe for an auto box but I could be wrong. if you pm me you reg I'll try and match the sensor to your vin, doesn't always work but can try for you

Hmmm, dont think its for an auto as the listing states for an audi s3 AMK engine code. I will PM my reg over to you mate. Have been trawling through the breakers on ebay this morning.

Don't worry guys i have sourced one from a breaker on ebay. Also had to get a lambda as the threads on mine are no more!

Don't worry its not cheap ebay electrics, it from a guy breaking his s3 so they are genuine parts removed from the car :thumbsup:

Curiosity made me look anyway though and tufftys part number is the one
