A3 front pads

Evening...im carrying out the s3 front brake upgrade this week on my 2001 a3. 1.8T. Carriers i have, 312mm discs i have just need pads. Ive been told that I can use my calipers that are already on the car. Will these pads fit the front - Audi A3 (8L) 1.8 Turbo 20v Black Diamond Fast Road Front Brake Pads PP479 Only £53.58.

S3 and a3 running 312s use same pads

As above mate, you just need the calipers and the discs, you can use your original calipers, so no need to mess about with brake lines. Pads are what you would use with your standard setup.

Do 312mm brakes definately fit under stock A3 16" wheels, it looks like its gonna be kinda tight!

I can confirm that 16" wheels clear 312s radially, as I ran a set of 16" Golf4 V6 4Motion alloys on my S3 during a wheel refurb many years ago. I see no reason why the stock 16s would be a problem, but needs confirming non the less.
