Bleed nipple in brake master cylinder same as in caliper?

I was doing a big break upgrade over the weekend and when bleeding the system after we discovered that one of the bleed nipples on the master cylinder was snapped off so my question is will the bleed nipple from the original calipers work in the master cylinder?

think there is two on the mc? take the good one out and see if one from the caliper fits.

Cheers man at least I know now. Can the bleed nipples be got on their own or do I have to get a new mc?

I'm fairly sure you can get them alone. it must be a simple size like m6 or similar. they're pretty small

Yup, they are M6 x 1.0 pitch.
